General Management

BOARD OF DIRECTORS The Board of Directors consists of the five company principals; Felix Roth, Ulrich Roth, Fermo Jaeckle, Steve McKeon and Jim Natzke. All board members also hold active positions within the company; Fermo is the CEO, Felix is the Technical Director, Ulrich is the Financial Director, Steve is the President and Jim is the General Manager. We meet regularly as a group to make decisions which will guide the future of our company. Walking in on one of our meetings would likely give you an earful of spirited discussion, but by the end of the day, we've always agreed on Roth Käse's next course of action.
ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE All facets of operation are overseen by us in the Administration Office. We take care of all bookkeeping matters from invoices to employee benefit plans, we support the supervisors and managers with information, and we secure the cash to finance the company’s operations. In a nutshell, all of the money that comes into or goes out of this company, does so through our office.
PLANT MANAGEMENT Great cheese starts with great milk and great cheesemakers.  I help coordinate the weekly efforts of the plant employees and together we turn thousands of pounds of fresh, local milk into the finest cheese available.  Optimizing efficiency in the plant and insuring compliance with our quality management system are also part of my repertoire.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT It’s all in the details here at Quality Control.  Our job is to ensure customer satisfaction by testing each and every product for quality and safety.  Our lab is located in the plant, which allows us to make quick adjustments for optimum results.  We follow strict written procedures that comply with ISO 9001 standards.
MAINTENANCE Although many of our signature cheeses require a lot of hand labor, there are still quite a number of machines needed to produce our fine products.  The Maintenance Department  routinely checks the equipment in hopes of preventing major mechanical failure.  In the event of a problem, we’re there at any time of the day to get the plant back up and running.  We also play a major part in planning and implementing improvements to the plant.
