PEOPLE
Although our award-winning cheese is some of the best you’ll
ever taste, it doesn’t exactly sell itself. It takes an
expert and motivated sales staff that thinks selling cheese is
fun. Not only do we understand the nuances between retail and
restaurant customers, but it’s our job to translate our
customers’ needs into great product concepts. Our salespeople
have a passion for our products.

MARKETING
Marketing…what does that actually mean? In the Roth Käse Marketing Department, we handle sample requests, label design, press releases, product photography, point-of-sale information, promotional materials, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Our goal is to make sure that we are creating a positive image for our fantastic, hand-crafted cheeses – we want everyone to know how great our cheeses are so that they can enjoy them as much as we do.

CUSTOMER
SERVICE
We have sales people all over the country working hard to make
our cheese available to as many people as possible. Our job in
the Customer Service Department is to make sure that all orders
are taken, confirmed and filled in a timely and efficient manner.
We also spend a lot of time communicating with customers and sales
people, informing them of changing inventories and doing whatever
we can to improve customer satisfaction.

DISTRIBUTION
It sounds like an easy job, after the cheese is made, simply ship
it to the customer. It’s actually a constant balancing act.
Each of our customers has their own specific shipping requirements,
so each order is individually assembled onto pallets for shipping.
We warehouse it until it’s ready to go and coordinate trucking
so the shipment is received on time.

PURCHASING
Shopping all the time, could there be a better job? OK, so we don’t
spend our days at the mall, but we are responsible for purchasing
all of the ingredients and packaging materials that are needed
to make our award-winning cheeses. We make sure they’re constantly
available and that we get the best price possible.
